Sports played growing up and in school: "Volleyball, soccer, softball, weightlifting; I was stronger than average and thought I was muscular at the time, but nothing compared to now."

Lifting Background: "I started lifting light weights at the end of 2002 and started training for bodybuilding Jan. 1, 2003. My 1st competition was that spring. I started competing at 119 lbs and 10-12% bodyfat. I competed in the fall of 2004 at 115 lbs and 6% bodyfat. I have already won 2 first place lightweight competitions in local shows.

"I love how I feel so much healthier and stronger just doing everyday tasks. Life can be very demanding with a 5 and 13 year old."

On reactions she gets to her physique: "People are always surprised when they see me dressed in everyday clothes and then see me with something a little more revealing. They have no idea how muscular I am."

On being competitive: "Yes, I am competitive. It probably shows up most when training before a competition. My training partner Carol tells me there is someone out their training harder than me."

Future Goals: "I have decided not to compete this year to gain some muscle size and compete next year at 4% bodyfat."
