Hobbies/Interests: "I love to go out w/my husband and friends and dance the night away!"

Favorite Music: "JUICE!  Local Dallas D.J. (Intense, sensual, energy trance music)"
Favorite Movies/TV Shows: "A Bed of Roses is my favorite movie and I don’t watch much TV, but I get a kick out of watching the WWF with my husband, it’s quite a comedy!"

Athletic Background: "I was never known to be strong at anything, the only thing that sticks out to me is as a child, everyone use to make fun of how big my calves were; and all the boys always told me I would be fat when I grew up.  Boy, did I prove them wrong!!

"I played basketball and was a cheerleader in high school. Shortly into my high school years, I was in an accident and unable to participate in any type of physical activities.  I was first introduced to the gym by a friend who was training to be a power lifter.  What a whole new world this was for me!  The ammonia caps, pep talks and intense level of training by all these guys weighing 200 lbs plus was a little overwhelming.  I was always the only girl in this small gym, but was a part of the family and was always looked out for as far as training techniques, form and work out programs."

On the impact lifting has had on her: "Lifting has changed my entire life.  I have a better outlook about myself. I have learned discipline and gained the respect and confidence of my friends and people I meet in every day life. I’ve learned more about my body and have educated myself nutritionally. I am always learning and growing as a result f the people who have helped me with my diet and training program.  My goal from competing is to one day be someone who will inspire others as I have been inspired. To improve themselves, their lifestyle, physical condition and general quality of life."

On her motivation as an athlete: "The response I get from people in passing each day. I like being able to motivate, encourage and give what knowledge I have to others who are trying to reach a goal. I see what diet, nutrition and workout programs has done for me and if I can help anyone else to be happy with who they are, that makes me happy and gives me satisfaction."

On her strongest/weakest muscle groups: "I’d have to say shoulders are my strongest. Not so much as weight is concerned, but my shoulders always come out well. Legs are my strongest muscle when it comes to moving weight. They are also my weakest muscle group, as far as definition. It is very hard for me to get my legs out."

On people's reaction to her muscular physique: "It all depends on the person, certain men tell me softer women are more attractive to them, but those men are always softer than average!! My husband loves my physique and he is the only man I concern myself with. Most women I meet, give me a great response. They like my definition and body frame."

Future Goals: "My long term goal is to hopefully get my pro card, a sponsor to help maintain my physique, supplementation and to get the exposure I need, to be known to the public. Again, I enjoy helping others reach their goals, to feel good about themselves and to live life as happily as possible. I feel that a big key to this factor is feeling good about yourself and your physique. Diet and nutrition isn’t rocket science and so many people just need a little extra support to motivate them or help take that first step. I would like to be that person."

I just want to say thank you to all of those people out there that have helped support me, that have given me guidance, advice and the security within myself to get me where I am today. Thank you!"
