Athletic/Lifitng Background/Achievements: "I was never any good at sports in school so I never considered myself to be an athlete until I set foot in the weight room. I was stronger than most of the guys and it felt great. I got back into weightlifting in my early 20s out of boredom. In the beginning, it helped me overcome an eating disorder. Later on, I quit smoking and went on to compete in bodybuilding a year later. I have been lifting for 6 years now."
Future Goals: "My future goals will be to win a major bodybuilding show and maybe do some competitive powerlifting."
On the impact lifting has had on her life: "It has had a positive impact on my life because I am now a much better role model for my children than I used to be. I have also had job opportunities that otherwise would not have been there,and it has given me a great deal of confidence in myself."
