Other Athletic Feats (answer those you know, ignore those you
don't)
How many pullups/chinups can you do consecutively (specify chin
or pull)?: 12 (pull ups) 10 (chin ups)
How many pushups?: 30
Were you always strong/athletic/muscular? I was
always a weakling. When I was around 11 years old I attempted
and failed to do a push-up. I knew then that I had to do something
about it.
Athletic Background...sports played growing up,
honors won?: Played soccer and basketball as a kid... never panned
out into the teen years.
After realizing that I was pathetically weak, I started lifting
when I was around 11 years old. I never really took it very seriously,
I just wanted to feel good about myself.
Has lifting had a positive impact on your life and how?: I don't
think it's possible for me to be happy if I'm not in shape. It
makes my body smile.
What
empowers/motivates you as an athlete..why do you train?:
I always feel like I should put my best effort into everything
I do. And as a friend of mine said when commenting on his very
low heart rate... "This baby only has so many beats it in."
Who are your role models and why?: I love gymnasts' bodies. I
would die a happy Pam if I had a body like that for just one day.
How do people, men in particular, react to your physique?:
Shocked!
What are your future goals in athletics and weight lifting? I
don't have any serious goals. I just want to stay in shape and
look good.
