Hobbies/Interests: "I'm an artsy crafty type. I like little creative projects, like putting the crystals on my competition suits. I make scrap books and collages and I enjoy taking pictures as well."

Athletic Background/Achievements: "I've been an athlete my whole life. I've played soccer, volleyball, basketball, downhill skiing, track, hiking, and biking."

Lifting Background/Beginnings: "I'm competitive and getting on stage in an NPC show seemed like the next step for me. My trainer (Bryce, who is now my husban) suggested I try it. Now, I'm hooked!"

"If anyone is reading this that is considering competition - DO IT! Yes, it is totally worth it. It is hard, but if it was easy, why do it? This is a very demanding sport that requires dedication and focus, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

"Getting ready for a show is a long process. It's a huge personal challenge. Accept the challenge so that you can realize a goal achieved on the day of the show. Remember to enjoy the whole process. Stepping on stage is the icing on the cake. It's the sign that you won, you made it thru and achieved one of your biggest personal goals. It's very satisfying!"
