Athletic background: "I danced for 12 years and competed throughout Canada & the States in gymnastics, ballet, tap and jazz; played indoor volleyball all through my elementary & high school years; advanced to an Elite team in Hamilton (Seekers) and now play a lot of beach volleyball on a non-co"petitive level.

"I have always been in shape since I was a little girl. Being active at such a young age has made it easier for me to stay in shape as I have gotten older. Seeing the results and now finally being recognized for it has been a huge accomplishment for me."

On your motivation as an athlete: "My motivation would be seeing other girls in the industry accomplishing their goals and then some. I am usually hard on myself and because of this I usually strive for only the best. At times I run short of that which only gives me the drive and determination to work that much harder."

Strongest/weakest muscle groups: "I would say my strongest muscle group would be my arms; my weakest would have to be my abs."

On people’s reaction to her physique: "People are always amazed on my arms first and foremost. It’s like they have never seen muscles on a girl before. That’s when all the lines come out like, “do you workout?”

Future goals: "My future goal would be to come back to the Canadians and place in the top three. Long term goal would be to obtain pro card status. The most important element in this industry to achieve success is to recognize your strengths and weaknesses and work on them to meet your own personal satisfaction and to meet above industry standards so that you stand out from the rest!!"
