Athletic Background/Achievements: "I played softball and ice hockey. I was on my high schools first girls hockey team. I was the goalie. I accomplished alot in my hockey carrer and I owe it all to my dad. He would take me to the pond and shoot pucks at me and helped me out on all my hockey skills. By working hard it paid off. I was captain my senior year and MVP. I went on to play at St. Cloud State University for two years."
On what lifting has done for her: "It makes me feel confident about myself. It has also open the door for many wrestling opportunities and separates me from the wannabes."
On her motivation to lift: "My drive and commitment and desire to pursue a wrestling career."
On her strongest/weakest muscle groups: "My back is the strongest and my legs are the weakest. I want bigger legs."
On people's reactions to her lifting weights: "I could go on forever on this subject. Men think its great when women workout hard, but other women get a little jealous of women that work hard for a rock hard body. People stare and point at me. I was always told it's rude to stare and point. You don't see alot of muscular people around these days especially a muscular female. I have even been asked to my face if I was a man or a woman. When I hear these comments it just makes me work even harder. I think muscles are beautiful."
On doing her part to win the battle of the sexes: "I had to prove myself in the wrestling ring that I'm not your average woman wrestler. I proved that I can wrestle the guys and keep up with them in the ring. I have earned a lot of respect."
