Athletic background: I was never really an athlete thorough highschool. I never liked having to compete against anyone or be on any teams where I may have been the reason for the loss. I didn’t actually get serious with exercising or bodybuilding until I was 30 years old, after my son was born.

On your motivation as an athlete:
Pushing myself and seeing what positive changes I can make to my body is my motivation. It has become so much a part of my day/life that if I do not go to the gym at my normal time I feel almost lost. It also elevates my mood and just makes me feel like I am accomplishing something good

The impact fitness/weightlifting has had on your life:
It has helped build my self-esteem, it has taught me to eat healthier and smarter.

Your strongest/weakest muscle groups:
Strongest: Legs, Hamstrings, Calves, and Chest
Weakest: Shoulders, Back

On people’s reaction to your physique:
I love it! It is so nice to get paid compliments and have people ask me questions. Anytime I can help to motivate someone else to change bad habits it makes me feel great. I never realized how many fans there were out there.

Future goals:
Of course I would love to get my Pro Card and become a sponsor for a Nutrition company. That would be my dream. I feel that I would be a great role model since I started so late in life and am the mother of 2 children. You don’t have to be in your 20’s to have a great physique.
No matter what, I will be happy…I have a great family and a great job already. Bodybuilding is just my hobby that I would love to make my profession.
