Where are you from/where do you live: I am from New York, but have lived in Florida most of my life

Job/School: I attend college for Web Design and Graphic Arts, I also work there full time. I do some fitness modeling and train people when I have time.

Hobbies / Interests: I would have to say my new thrill is off road biking. I like to do that in the mornings for my cardio instead of the gym. This way I only have to see the gym once a day and its when I lift. My schedule permits me to take 1 Pilates class per week and it is wonderful, it has really helped me with my midsection. I like to draw, I am currently learning how to develop film and work in the darkroom. It is a lot of fun, I think I will like being behind the camera along with in front too(smile!)

Favorite Movies/TV Shows: I couldn't tell you the last time I watched TV. If I have free time I usually flip through all of the channels to see whats on, it usually ends up on the discovery channel, or the food network, I like to imagine what it would be like to eat all of that wonderful food. yummy!

Favorite Music: I love to listen to Techno when I am doing cardio, I like Techno or Rock when I lift, and when I am at work I like new age. My current favorite is Nora Jones.

Were you always strong/athletic/muscular? I think I have always been strong, I was a little bigger then most of the girls. I could remember watching the American Gladiators every day and wanting to be one

Athletic Background...sports played growing up, honors won...how did you start lifting? how long have you been lifting?: I played professional football for a short time (middle linebacker) other then that I was into my music (band nerd) I started lifting in high school but did not compete until 2001.

Who are your role models in your sport? Who wold you like to emulate? I think Corey Everson is the epitomy of the perfect female build. She is also very beautiful.

Has sports/lifting had a positive impact on your life and how?: Absoultly, It gives me a focal point, it releaves stress and gives me more energy. I look better and feel great.

What empowers/motivates you as an athlete?: I think that I am my biggest competitor, I have to challenge myself all the time. I think that my grandmother is my motivater, she has always supported me and all she wants in life is for her little one to fufill her dreams, I think of her and it makes me work harder.

What's your strongest muscle group, what do you consider your weakest?:
I think my strongest muscle group is my legs, I have worked pretty hard on my shoulders also. I need to improve on my lower back.

How do people, men in particular, react to you lifting weights and/or being muscular or real athletic?: Overall I think it has been positive, of course you get men who are intimated, but then you get ones who think it is the greatest thing in the world. To the majority of the men out there, I think they like it.

What are your future goals in athletics and weight lifting?
I would like to conitnue to train people and advance my skills to be more developed in certain areas, especially diet. I plan to compete for a while longer. I will be visiting the Nationals in Miami and the Arnold in Ohio next year, I am sure that will inspire me to want to be on that stage one day, you never know.
