Liane is a 5'3", 120 lb pro figure competitor from Colorado. She began by competing in bodybuilding in 1993, did as well as placing 5th at the Team Universe in 2000, and made the transition to figure in 2001.
A few words from Liane about her athletic background taken from her website :
"Individual sports is where I excelled in school. Diving, ice skating and gymnastic sports, where both strength and control were necessary. I loved the look of defined muscles, lean and strong. Not long after high school I became interested in bodybuilding after seeing a competition on T.V. with Cory Everson. That was it, I found my way to the nearest gym. Lacking experience & knowledge the early years weren’t very productive. Through trial and error I found the right combination of weight training & cardio to help shape my body."
