2004 CBBF Canadian Fitness & Figure Championships
July 3, 2004 -- Brantford, Ontario, Canada
HerBiceps.com was on hand to cover this very competitive Canadian national show. Congrats to HerBiceps covergirl and feature model Mindi O'Brien and also to Sandra Wickham for winning their IFBB pro fitness cards and to future HerBiceps feature model Debbie Leung along with Lucie Bergeron for winning their IFBB pro figure cards. Congrats also to all the other competitors for making this a really spectacular show.
The figure competition at this show was particularly interesting as many of the top placers were either former bodybuilders or bodybuilders crossing over into the figure ranks. Amongst the crossovers included Shelly Yakimchuk, Emmanuela Pintus, Debbie Leung, Lucie Bergeron and Lara Temereski.
Other notables and standouts included Jen Kersten's energetic fitness routine, Kelly Ottenbreit's terrific physique, and 1st place class wins for Jennifer Reece, Nina Luchka and Myriam Capes.
We were lucky enough to conduct shoots with quite a few of the competitors at this show. Look for the results from those shoots to be posted in the members section throught the summer, fall, winter and into next year.
The CBBF Canadian Fitness & Figure Championships is the national-level event that qualifies female fitness and figure competitors for IFBB Pro Card status This year's event was held in Brantford, Ontario and consisted of more than 100 of the country's top competitors.
